Welcome to the fun world of kunstdog!

How it all started:

I used to have dogs when I was a kid, from a Beagle mix to 5 Dobermanns while living on the farm. The first painting was my friend's Pug portrait that he put in a baroque frame, and the result was amazing! If you would like to have your pooch (or any pet!) portrait, drop me a line! Looking at it will just cheer you up for the rest of the day!

How it works:

Based on photographs of your doggie, I sketch and sketch until I find the perfect representation of the dog’s personality, character and pose. Then I translate this onto the chosen size canvas; study the colours for the fur and background, and start painting with my fingers (yes! I do not use brushes!). I will email you images of the work in progress. A natural progression from canvas pooch was to scarf pooch. See below for our new range!
